Clay face brick, CMU (Concrete Masonry Units) and cut stone are available in numerous sizes, shapes, textures and colors. This variety works well with design styles that try to break large scale forms into smaller ones that often have a variety of forms.
CMU Concrete Masonry Units are now made in a variety of appearances that simulate jumbo clay face brick, chiseled stone and split stone. Even close inspection is difficult to determine the difference between a jumbo clay brick and a half-height concrete "brick".
